Marvin Sordell leaves Burnley after contract is cancelled

Clarets striker Marvin Sordell’s contract has today been cancelled by mutual consent.

Sordell made 17 appearances in the 2014/15 season and scored one goal against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup.

So far this season, the 24-year-old striker has made four substitute appearances for the Clarets.

Burnley Football Club would like to thank Marvin for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
