Luckless Burnley defender Mee doubtful as jinx strikes again
Defender Ben Mee’s injury jinx struck again at Leeds as he was forced off just before half-time.
Boss Sean Dyche said: “It was a hamstring, so we’ll wait and see how quickly that can settle down.” Since picking up a knee injury in December, which saw him miss 17 games, Mee returned last month and in his second game back was sent off at Blackburn. On his return to the side from suspension, at home to Nottingham Forest, he twisted his knee, but after missing the 3-1 win against Bristol City at Turf Moor, he returned for the trip to Blackpool last Saturday.
