Simon Jersey have donated 22 brand new warm up tops, and Mick Cain said: “It’s great to have support from local business and a company the size of Simon Jersey, who are also official Team GB sponsors for Rio 2016!
“The Mix cafe and nightclub in Burnley have also kindly agreed to sponsor us, with their branding appearing on team tracksuit tops.
“We’re delighted with the agreement, and they are also laying on some food for us ahead of our airport transfer!
“We’d also like to thank Veka, who have very generously donated all medical supplies for the Germany trip and future fixtures.”
Skipper John Deary is serious about winning the tournament: “We have been three times previously and made the final in the last two.
“This is the strongest squad we have taken
“It includes 15 former professionals, and with the addition of some younger blood in Alex Kevan, Brad Maylett, Dennis Hill and Jon Borland, I feel this could be our year.
“We do a lot for charity but we always have one eye on this tournament.
“Everything is geared towards it. I see this as as good a chance as we have had.”
