Fulledge Colts Under 13s have won the Accrington and District Junior Foootball League and Cup double.

The side joined the ADJFL in 2009 at Under 10s and have finished as champions in three of the last four seasons.

A 6-0 win on the final day, with goals from Ben Ashton (3), Jack Calvert, Josh McRae and Nathaniel Anderson, sealed the title.

Fulledge travelled to Shawbridge, the home of Clitheroe FC, to play Fenny and Plessy JFC in the league cup final, and won 3-2 after extra time, with goals from Charlie Dewhurst and two from Ben Ashton.

The team have managed to go through the entire season unbeaten and have earned a positive reputation for the quality of their football.

Some players from the team have recently earned contracts with Blackpool and Preston, whilst the management team enjoys strong links with the academies at Manchester City and Bury.

The side are now off to Holland on tour, departing today for the JVC Tournament in Cuijik, near Eindhoven, which boasts Glasgow Rangers, Derby County and Brighton and Hove Albion as previous entrants.

The club would like to thank strip sponsors The Marsden Building Society, VEKA PLC for team tracksuits; INVIRT for rain jackets, Complete Network Solutions for hoodies, and Shaun at S&M Industrial Carpet Cleaners for training kits.
