A quartet of Blessed Trinity footballers have been called up to the Lancashire Under 16s squad.
All four were part of the Blessed Trinity history-making team which won the ESFA National Cup last year at Derby.
Willem Tomlinson, 15, is a member of Blackburn Rovers Academy and plays centre midfield.“I train four times a week,” said Willem, who lives on Manchester Road.
“I am thoroughly excited about being selected for Lancashire. I want to be a professional footballer.”
Defender Jordan Swift, 15, plays for Burnley Belvedere.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to play for Lancashire,” said Jordan, who lives on Lisbon Drive.
Striker Lewis Mansell, 16, Cleveland Road, plays for Blackburn Under 16s, while goalkeeper Kean Craig, 15, of Surrey Avenue is a stopper for Burnley Belvedere.
