VK on potential outgoings, including Nathan Collins

"I made a point to leave the players on their holidays. I gtry to limit my time to speaking to the players when they're in the building. If there's a club we'll have a discussion, if not, we'll move on."

Vincent Kompany confirms contract length

"I've signed a 4-5 year contract.”

VK on being enticed to Turf Moor

"It happened over a period of time. I was not in a need to go and look for another club. We started talking mid-term,long-term, short-term, speaking about opportunities. There was an openness with the chairman and the owners.

“The reality is that we're in a very calm position and we know how to grow the club. It's a transition period. It's about recruitment and developing players. The hardest part of football is keeping people calm.”
