LIVE: Burnley v Chelsea

McNeil misses a sitter

Mendy makes a hash of his clearance when attempting to punch Westwood’s cross away under pressure from Rodriguez and, with the goal gaping, McNeil lifts his effort over the bar.

Rudiger has a pop from distance, but Pope saves down to his right hand side.

Weghorst’s cushioned effort from Lennon’s cross is cleared off the line by Silva. Moments later, Collins gets above Chalobah to meet McNeil’s set-piece, but the defender can’t keep his header down.

Taylor does well to block a low strike from Mount.

McNeil started brightly

The Burnley winger has been vibrant in the opening quarter-of-an-hour. A lung-busting run prevented Saul from breaking, he beat Chalobah to Westwood’s lofted pass before winning a corner, and he’s pressing the ball hard.

Saul catches Roberts with a high boot, though the Spaniard only had eyes for the ball.

Will the War of the Roses go down to the wire?

That would make things interesting for Burnley’s Charlie Taylor.
