AFTER a three month lay-off due to the weather, Ighten Leigh Under 12s got back to winning ways with a 3-0 win at Barnoldswick Barons.

Dale Benson, Connor Juriansz and Thomas Fewster were on target, with Liam Gidley named man of the match.

READSTONE United Under 10s Blue had a convincing 7-1 victory over Barnoldswick Barons Red to remain at the top of the table.

Star man Brandon Wylie scored four, with Daniel Fielden, Saul Wilds and Oliver Wheatcroft also on target.

United’s Under 10s Yellow progressed to the semi-finals of the Consolation Cup with a 6-1 victory over Barnoldswick Barons.

The goal scorers were man of the match Harry Burrows (2), Nat Sanderson (2), Ben Dinning and Cade Leonard.

The Under 11s Yellow had a thrilling 2-2 draw with Readstone Blues.

The Yellows scored two goals in the first half through Owen Webster amd Oliver Crew. However, the Blues came storming back in the second half to equalise.
