Kiko Rodriguez’s delight at England call-up for son Jay
In 2011 the Burnley Express spoke to Kiko Rodriguez after son Jay was called up to Stuart Pearce’s England Under 21 squad.
Now, 31 months on, we returned to talk to the former Claret striker’s proud dad following the 24-year-old’s call up to Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions squad.
The Saints forward will team up with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Welbeck as well as St Mary’s team mates Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana next week ahead of friendlies with Chile and Germany at Wembley.
