Keith Treacy joins Sheffield Wednesday on loan
BURNLEY midfielder Keith Treacy has joined League One promotion-chasers Sheffield Wednesday on an emergency loan deal.
The Republic of Ireland international will remain with the Owls until the end of the season.
Treacy, who joined the Clarets on a three-year deal from Preston North End in July 2011, has made 27 appearances so far this season, scoring two goals including an opening day equaliser against Watford at Turf Moor.
However, the 23-year-old Dublin-born wide man has made just five appearances since January.
