In Iceland at the Vikingsvollur Stadium, Fulton kept Scotland in the game while 1-0 down, with a superb double save from a long-range effort from Heidar Aegisson and the follow-up from Daniel Gretarsson.

Iceland added a second, and as Scotland tired, Fulton made a couple more excellent stops.

Fulton, previously capped at Under 16 and 19 level, earned a second cap on Tuesday night against Macedonia in Skopje.

A snapshot from the edge of the box from Marjan Redeski was saved by Fulton, but Kire Markovski drilled the rebound into
the net.

Four minutes later Ernis Bardi drilled in a low shot from 20 yards.

Scotland were given a lifeline eight minutes before the break when Fulton saved a penalty from David Babunski.
