Jones is expecting a tough encounter at the Hawthorns but believes Burnley have got what it takes to get the three points.

“Any away game in the Premier League is going to be tough but with the performances we’ve put on I know we think we’ve deserved more points from the games.

“We’re not going to fear going to anywhere although they’ll be a good team and it’ll be a tough battle again we’ll be approaching it in the same way. They’ve got good players, good experience of Premier League football so as I said it’ll be a very tough game, one that we’re looking forward to.”

Jones said the team was disappointed with the Sunderland draw and they are just missing that bit of luck.

“Three clean sheets on the bounce in the Premier League shows that we’ve got a good foundation. We’ve been unfortunate, just wanted probably a bit more cutting edge in front of goal but we had chances and pressure and the work-rate was brilliant again so there were a lot of positives to take.”
