Jay at double as Clarets return home with a victory
The second string returned to Turf Moor, taking on Accrington Stanley, and Rodriguez scored either side of a Luke Joyce leveller, before Michael King sealed the win.
Michael Duff captained the side and came through the full 90 minutes - although he suffered a blow to the ribs that ruled him out of training yesterday.

But with just eight minutes on the clock, he thumped home a header from a King corner to put Burnley ahead.
The Clarets were dominating proceedings, but couldn’t add to their lead, and Stanley could have gone in level, only for Rory Boulding to squander a good opportunity before the interval.
After the break, however, Joyce levelled matters with a terrific strike from 22 yards that flashed past Lee Grant.

Hide AdStanley enjoyed a good period after the goal, but Burnley recovered to regain the lead.
Kevin McDonald and Alex-Ray Harvey combined to release Rodriguez, who found the bottom corner with a clinical strike.
Burnley now had the upper hand again, and they clinched the points with a lovely goal, as Brian Easton slalomed through the Stanley defence from the left and found King (pictured, right), who drilled home to make it 3-1.
The Clarets comfortably saw the game out, to make it two wins from two after a 6-0 win over Oldham.
