In a poll of 542 votes, the Clarets stopper was a wide-margin victor. The England international received 80.1% of the votes when up against Dean Henderson (Sheffield United), Alisson (Liverpool) and Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City).
2. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)
The Three Lions full back came out on top with 73.5% of the vote when up against Leicester City's Ricardo Pereira (10.8%), Wolves defender Matt Doherty (9%) and Manchester United right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka (6.6%).
3. Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)
The commanding Dutch defender was another comprehensive winner. The Ballon d'Or runner-up claimed 79.5% of the vote with Brighton's Lewis Dunk (11.4%) in second. Leicester City's Jonny Evans and Sheffield United's Jack O'Connell finished with a 4.6% backing.
4. James Tarkowski (Burnley)
The Burnley defender was a runaway winner in the poll to find the first of our centre backs. He received 70.3% of the vote ahead of team mate Ben Mee (13.9%). Leicester City's alar Sync (9.1%) was third ahead of Manchester United's Harry Maguire (6.7%).
