Revealed: The Burnley player among the Premier League's most clinical in 20/21

Burnley have struggled for goals at times this season.

With just 30 goals in 33 matches, the Clarets are the joint-third-lowest scorers in the Premier League, with relegation-threatened Fulham and Sheffield United the only sides to score less than them.

Last Sunday did see an unusually free-scoring performance from Sean Dyche’s men, with Chris Wood hitting a hat-trick in a comprehensive 4-0 win over Wolves.

For the most part, however, Burnley have been forced to bide their time for chances in games this season, and have averaged just 40.58% possession in the Premier League.

Playing that way requires talents who are able to make good on the rare opportunities that come their way.

BettingOdds.com have conducted research into which Premier League players have registered the fewest touches per goal involvement in the top flight in 2020/21 – and there are some surprising names in the top 20.
