The Clarets go into this one off the back of five Premier League matches without a win, and are currently just four points outside of the relegation zone.

Last weekend saw them pick up a valuable point in a frantic 1-1 draw with Arsenal.

By contrast, the Toffees are flying high under Carlo Ancelotti, and could move to within two points of fourth-placed Chelsea with victory at Goodison Park this evening while still holding a game in hand over Thomas Tuchel’s men.

The home side have lost just one of their previous four top flight meetings going into this.

For the most part, however, Dyche has decided to stick with the team that shared the spoils with the Gunners last week.

Erik Pieters starts at left-back in place of Charlie Taylor who misses out through injury.
