This summer’s transfer window is set to be a fascinating one with managers, players, fans and clubs unsure what to expect. While the Premier League and Championship could be back up and running next month, in Scotland the 2019/20 campaign has already been concluded.
The knock-on effects will likely be felt both sides of the border. While Scottish clubs could see selling players to England as a way of bringing in income during such a difficult period financially, conversely English clubs may see Scotland as a market where they are able to recruit gems without breaking the bank.

9. Florian Kamberi - Hibs
It is highly unlikely the forward will be welcomed back into the Hibs fold, certainly by fans following comments made when he made the switch to Rangers. If he doesn’t return to Ibrox there will likely be interest from England. Photo: ANDY BUCHANAN
His progress will not have gone unnoticed. The way he has adjusted to Premiership football, his ability to occupy defenders, defend from the front, act as a focal point and score. Another with plenty of qualities which would be worth a risk. Photo: Ian MacNicol
Combative, diminutive, incredibly fit, scrappy and a football brain and fine technique. Any clubs would be smart to bring the midfielder in to look to progress him to the next level. Photo: Mark Runnacles
The Dundee United hitman has been linked with Stoke City, and many others will no doubt be attracted to his goalscoring exploits after netting 62 in 74 matches across the past two campaigns. Despite the goals coming in the second tier it was enough to earn a Scotland call-up. Photo: Ian MacNicol
