Burnley transfer news: Clarets plot swoop for EFL defender, Pope replacement identified
Burnley will be hoping to take a major step towards guaranteeing their Premier League survival with a win over West Ham on Bank Holiday Monday.
The Clarets ripped through Wolves in their last outing, cruising to a 4-0 win over Wanderers thanks in large part to a first-half hat-trick from Chris Wood.
By contrast, David Moyes’ men have lost two on the bounce, but will still be hoping to resurrect their form so that they can sneak into the top four come the end of the season.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Dyche made it clear just how eager he is for his side to keep on battling right until the very end of the campaign.
He said: “What we have done is earned a right to get away from a position early season, when we were right down there.
“And we have continued to earn our performance levels, and get important points and victories on the board.
“The season is never over until it literally is over, I have always believed that.
“Equally we have to keep our eye on the next one because the last one doesn’t owe you the next one, and I tell the players that all the time.
“A very strong performance doesn’t owe us the next one. We will make sure we enjoy it, but will find a balance in the week to make sure that the players are still at it, mentally focused and will make sure we take on the next game.”
