Burnley star Josh Brownhill responds to West Ham and Aston Villa 'interest', Georginio Wijnaldum offered deal to leave Liverpool

Josh Brownhill is reportedly attracting interest from elsewhere – but the Burnley star is focused on staying at Turf Moor.

The 25-year-old has established himself as a key part of Sean Dyche’s starting XI following his £9million move from Bristol City in January 2020.

His ability to play in the centre of the park or on the right wing has proved extra handy this term, especially during a time of quite a few injuries in the Clarets camp.

Brownhill’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed with West Ham, Aston Villa, Wolves, Southampton and Crystal Palace all apparently keeping tabs on the former Manchester United youngster, as per TEAMTalk.

Ahead of Saturday evening’s Premier League match at Everton, Brownhill was asked about the recent speculation and was keen to stress that he is looking no further than Burnley.

He told Sky Sports: "When you start to do well, you get recognition for it. There's a lot of people who will talk, but you tend to not listen to them.

"I'm here at Burnley and my main goal is to do well here and to keep the club in the Premier League. Then it's onto next season and to progress even more.

"Whatever people talk about, it's not for me to listen. It's up to me to crack on with my work and to work hard here."
