Not only has a takeover at Turf Moor been completed in plenty of time for the new owners to make their mark this month, but a lot of the rhetoric surrounding the club at the moment would suggest that both ALK Capital and Dyche are keen to bring in some fresh faces in the coming weeks.
Whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen, of course, but one name that is already being linked with a potential swoop from the Clarets is that of Everton full-back Jonjoe Kenny.
According to Football Insider, Burnley are plotting a raid for the 23-year-old, who has found himself down the pecking order at Goodison Park this term.
The defender was heavily linked with a move to Turf Moor around 18 months ago, but ended up pursuing a continental adventure with Bundesliga outfit Schalke instead.
It is now understood that the Clarets have rekindled their interest in the player, however, and could look to capitalise on his lack of game time on Merseyside to secure his services.
At this stage, there is no indication as to whether any deal would be permanent or whether it would be a temporary agreement, but Dyche is said to be a long-time admirer of the right-back, and is eager to strengthen his options in that position.
