Tyrese, son of former Everton striker Kevin, has caught the eye with six goals and six assists in the Championship this season.

The 20-year-old only signed a new long-term with the Potters at the end of January but that hasn’t starved off interest in their key man.

Stoke do not want to sell Campbell but could soon have to deal with direct approaches with the Clarets and Wolves among the top-flight clubs monitoring him.

Meanwhile, Clarets youngster Joel Mumbongo has remained coy over his future at Turf Moor, claiming “my agent is the best person to answer”.

Mumbongo, who appeared in Sean Dyche’s first team squad at the back end of last season, will, at present, see his contract expires in the summer.

“I think my agent is the best person to answer (about a new contract). Mumbongo told Fotbollskanalen.

"For me, it’s just working out. As long as I’m here, my responsibility is to go in every day and work on what I need to work on,”

He added: “There’s still some time left. It’s an okay start, but you put that behind you and work forward. If you have a bad game, then it’s over. The next training continues to work on.”
