The Clarets are looking to book their place in the sixth round of the historic competition for the first time since 2003, and will be hoping to build on Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Brighton in the Premier League.

It will be a vastly different side who take to the field to face the Cherries at Turf Moor, however.

Erik Pieters, Dwight McNeil, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, and Matej Vydra are the only players to retain their spots in the starting XI.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell comes in between the sticks, with Phil Bardsley, Kevin Long, and Jimmy Dunne stepping into defence.

Dale Stephens and Josh Benson return in the centre of midfield, while Jay Rodriguez will lead the line alongside Vydra.
