Heath was recently back at Turf Moor to see Ings score his only Premier League goal to date, against another former club, Everton, and he said: “It’s important Danny Ings is back - I saw him score against Everton, and he had another good opportunity later on.

“He did well for the Under 21s as well, and he will be hugely important going forward.

Burnley got their win against Hull, and it just might let them relax a bit - everyone had been talking about it.

“I said to someone recently, people haven’t given Burnley enough credit for what they achieved. For Sean Dyche to get the team into the Premier League with the squad he has at his disposal, with the wage bill, is remarkable. Outside of Sean and his staff, people won’t give them a cat in hell’s chance of staying up, but sometimes when you are written off you can relax and play - it is almost in your favour.”
