Ings and Kane favourites to open scoring

Burnley entertain Spurs on Sunday the first of two successive home games against north London opposition, with Arsenal the visitors to Turf Moor next weekend.

The Clarets have scored 14 times in 15 home games but Spurs have only kept one clean sheet in their last 13 games on the road, and 23/20 at BetVictor looks a bit short for the visitors who have to win to have a realistic chance of breaking into the top four given they trail in-form Manchester United by six points.

Sean Dyche’s men are 12/5 to pick up all three points and, with Sunderland entertaining Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear Derby later in the day, Burnley will kick-off knowing a win will take them out of the drop zone irrespective of Saturday’s results.

BetVictor make Burnley 4/5 to be playing Championship football next term and Even money to stay up and, after the visit of the Gunners, their fixtures until the end of the campaign don’t look as difficult; at least not on paper.

Harry Kane played 90 minutes for England in Turin midweek and is 4/1 to score Sunday’s opener with Danny Ings 13/2.

The recommended bet must be the 8/11 for both sides to find the back of the net; a draw may not suit either side but they may have to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw that is 13/2 at BetVictor.
