There was a shock in store today for a caller who interrupted Burnley FC manager Sean Dyche’s press conference after his team’s victory over Leeds United.
As the jubilant Clarets boss answered questions from the media, a journalist’s phone, placed on the table in front of Dyche to record the interview, started to ring.
Dyche answered the phone with the words “Hello ... it’s Sean Dyche here, manager of Burnley FC” before asking if the caller was planning to go out for a few “beers” that night and then returning the phone to the journalist.
