Former United boss Moyes refuses to rule out move for Ings
Former Manchester United boss David Moyes has refused to rule out a move for Clarets striker Danny Ings.
Moyes, now in the Primera Liga in Spain with Real Sociedad, was linked with the forward while at Everton, and was at Turf Moor on Boxing Day to take in Burnley’s game with Liverpool.
Ings is out of contract in the summer, but, being under 24, would attract a compensation fee if he moved to another English club, however, if he moves out of the country, the club would receive significantly less, and Moyes, asked about the player today, said: “I can’t comment on individual cases, but we’re working hard to bring in players.”
