Former Clarets setup football academy in Burnley
Former Clarets Andy Payton and Ashley Hoskin are joining forces to bring a brand new football academy to Burnley.
The striker, who scored 232 career goals, and the one-time development and youth team coach at Turf Moor have teamed up with QSAM Ltd’s Stewart Scott and Energy Advice UK’s Andrew Paul to develop the exclusive venture.
X-Pro is a coaching programme looking to develop young players and help them achieve trials at professional football clubs while also helping players who have been released by clubs get back on track. An exhibition night will be held at the Spirit of Sport Centre on Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. where all age groups and both boys and girls are welcome.
