Football Manager report predicts goal haul for strike duo
Last week, we brought you news of a Football Manager simulation, which predicted Burnley would narrowly miss out on automatic promotion - before losing to arch rivals Blackburn Rovers in the play-offs.
And more details have emerged of the predictions from the best-selling and most realistic football management series ever made.
In the remaining 20 games of the season, starting on Tuesday night at home to Brighton, the simulation suggests Sam Vokes and Danny Ings, with 34 goals between them already, will plunder another 11 to take their partnership to 45 for the campaign.
It also claims new signing Ashley Barnes will be rotated as a striker, making several appearances on the left wing for his new club, going on to score a total of seven goals.
Other notable performers include David Edgar and Tom Heaton, who are rated as Burnley’s two most consistent performers in the run in.
