Express sports correspondent Dan Black identifies some of the key figures likely to be involved in the fixture and analyses some of the trends surrounding previous meetings between the two clubs as Sean Dyche's side go in search of a victory that would keep their own European hopes alive.

Wolves - Patricio, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Doherty, Dendoncker, Moutinho, Neves, Jonny, Jota, Jimenez.

The Referee:

Mike Dean, who has already officiated three times at Turf Moor this term, is a man that needs no introduction. The flamboyant referee will take charge of tonight's match while Kevin Friend is on VAR duties at Stockley Park. Dean took charge of Burnley's 2-1 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates at the start of the season and was then the man in the middle as the Clarets were beaten 2-0 at home to Manchester United in the final game of 2019.

Dean was forced to make a couple of contentious calls in a 3-0 win over AFC Bournemouth at Turf Moor in February and oversaw the 1-0 win against Watford late last month. He has yet to brandish a straight red card this season and averages 4.4 cautions per match in the top flight since August.

The Form Guide:

The Clarets have lost just once in 13 games in the Premier League, clocking up 26 points in that time. They are unbeaten in six league games at Turf Moor and go into the game having ended Liverpool's record-breaking winning run at Anfield. Wolves, meanwhile, are still only four points off fourth despite losing two of their last three - against Arsenal and Sheffield United. The visitors, currently in sixth spot with 55 points, are five points above 10th place Burnley.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side, who have only lost one league game on their travels since New Year's Day, thrashed Everton in their last outing with Jimenez, Leander Dendoncker and Diogo Jota getting on the scoresheet. A 15th league victory of the season would be Burnley's highest total in a Premier League campaign. This will be Wolves' 55th game in all competitions this season and a win would move them up to 58 points, their highest total in a Premier League campaign.

Lawro's prediction:

Wolves returned to winning ways against Everton at the weekend, which is one of the impressive things about them - they don't let the odd bad result affect them or alter their game plan when they lose.

As good as Burnley have been of late - and they were very good when they held Liverpool last time out - if Wolves play well, they will win.

Prediction: 0-2

The Record Books:

Burnley have lost just once against Wolves in the last seven meetings between the two sides, which was a 1-0 defeat at Molineux in September 2018. This fixture was boss Sean Dyche's first game in charge at the club back in November 2012 when Martin Paterson and Charlie Austin were on the scoresheet.

The corresponding fixture in the Midlands on August 25th finished all square as Craig Pawson pointed to the spot deep into injury-time. Ashley Barnes had given the Clarets the lead with a stunning first half strike, but Raul Jimenez levelled things up from 12 yards out after Erik Pieters had upended the Mexican striker. Burnley have won 38 of their previous 131 games against Wolves, drawing 27 and losing 66, including the final of the Sherpa Van Trophy at Wembley Stadium in 1988.

The Danger Men:

Wolves aren't a one man team by any stretch of the imagination. Adama Traore, who may return to the starting XI after being named on the bench against the Toffees, has emerged as one of the biggest attacking threats in the division. The Spaniard's turn of pace is frightening and he's beginning to look a lot more assured in possession. The £18m man, who is attracting interest from a number of clubs throughout Europe, has scored four times this term and added nine assists, the most in the squad.

But their Player of the Year so far has to be Jimenez. The former Benfica and Atletico Madrid star has scored 25 goals in all competitions this season, including 16 in the Premier League. The last Wolves player to net 17 in a top-flight season was John Richards in 1975-76. The 29-year-old has also been the provider six times this term, a return only bettered by Traore at the club.
