The second tier of English football is becoming renowned as a hotbed for developing talented footballers - only this week, Bayern Munich closed in on a deal for Reading's Omar Richards - and the 2020/21 season has seen a number of Championship players put themselves in the shop window for a big move this summer.
Burnley' s season remains on a knife-edge, and they'll be desperate to pick up some points to avoid dropping into the relegation zone over the coming weeks. Here's a look at 13 Championship stars who the Clarets could target in the upcoming summer transfer window:
1. David Brooks - Bournemouth
The technically-gifted midfielder has continued to see his career hampered by injury, but he's got a bright future ahead of him once he overcomes his ankle problems. At his best, he's far too good for the Championship.

2. Harvey Elliott - Liverpool (loan)
He's destined for big things, but, at the age of 17, he's likely to be given another season or two out on loan. The tenacious winger has scored five goals and made nine assists for Blackburn Rovers so far this season.

3. Ben Cabango - Swansea City
The 20-year-old has all the makings of a top quality defender, and his domineering performances at the back have helped the Swans continue their charge for promotion.

4. Michal Helik - Barnsley
Barnsley's terrific 2020/21 campaign currently sees them on the verge of breaking into the play-off spots. Helik has really impressed in his debut season in England, and could continue to thrive at a bigger club.
