Dyche proud to accept LG LMA Performance of the Week award
Sean Dyche was proud to accept the LG LMA Performance of the Week Award on behalf of everyone at Burnley Football Club.
The Clarets landed the award for their stunning 1-0 victory over reigning champions Manchester City at Turf Moor.
And having accepted the award from Sky reporter Jonny Phillips - in an interview to be screened on Sky’s Soccer Saturday programme - the Burnley manager said it was also representative of the one-club mentality.
Dyche said: “I mentioned last season with some nice awards that these are things I accept, but I accept them on behalf of my staff, my immediate staff and the staff that work in the offices, as well as the players and fans.
“I think that represents our one-club mentality when people acknowledge the club, and we want more of that, of course.
