Date for Clarets FA Cup trip to the Riverside confirmed
Burnley’s third-round Emirates FA Cup tie at Middlesbrough will take place on Saturday 9th January (3pm).
The Clarets were drawn against Aitor Karanka’s side in Monday’s draw and also travel to the Riverside Stadium on Tuesday in the Sky Bet Championship.
The two sides have not met in the FA Cup since 1947, when a 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough forced a replay, which the Clarets won 1-0.
