Burnley midfielder Richard Chaplow has put pen-to-paper on his first-ever professional contract at Turf Moor.
The 18-year-old has agreed a three year contract with the Clarets, which will run until the summer of 2006.
The Accrington-born ace has been a scholar at the club since the start of the 2001/02 campaign following many years at the clubs Centre Of Excellenceand his scholarship wasnt due to expire until the end of the season.
Chaplow made his firstappearance for the Clarets as a substitutein a First Division game at Norwich City earlier this year in April and has been involved with the first team squad ever since.
He made his full debutin a game with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground last season.
He then scored his first league goal for the Club inthe 1-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra at Turf Moor recently.
I'm delighted to have signed, he said, moments after the ink dried on his new contract.

Ive been with the Club since I was about eight years old and it's been great to be involved in the first team here and it's something Ive wanted to do all my life.
