Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho feels Burnley will cause Premier League sides problems this season.
Speaking after his side started their campaign with a 3-1 win at Turf Moor, with goals from Diego Costa, Andre Schurrle and Branslav Ivanovic cancelled out Scott Arfield’s opener, Mourinho said: “They were difficult (opponents), they play with their strength, very direct.
“Their two strikers were very close to each other and there was combination with both, the wingers were high intensity, they can accelerate, they can come inside to shoot, go outside and cross.”
The two-time Champions League winner also had praise for Sean Dyche: “I think they’re a very well-worked side, so the coach has to be good.
“They have to play against teams with a different dimension of players, but that’s what money does.
“But they gave us a difficult match and will give a difficult match to anyone.
“I wish them the best.”
