Burnley to play Cheltenham Town in final pre-season friendly

BURNLEY Football Club will conclude their pre-season tour of the South West this summer with a visit to Cheltenham Town.

The Clarets will visit the Abbey Business Stadium – formerly known as Whaddon Road – on Saturday, August 4 (3pm kick off).

The League Two outfit, who lost the Play Off final to Crewe Alexandra at Wembley in May, are managed by former Clarets midfielder Mark Yates.

The game will be the second of the mini-tour to the south west, following the friendly with Bath City at Twerton Park on Tuesday, 31 July (kick-off 7.30pm)

Admission prices for the game will be announced at a later date.
