Clarets top scorer Danny Ings has been drafted in to Gareth Southgate’s England Under 21 squad for a second time.
The 21-year-old, with 13 goals in all competitions for the Clarets this term, made his Three Lions debut in a 4-0 triumph against San Marino last month.
Following Burnley’s fixture with Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth at Turf Moor on Saturday, Ings will join his international team-mates ahead of the fixture with Finland at Stadiummk on Thursday, November 14th. England will then face San Marino in the reverse fixture at Shrewsbury Town’s Greenhous Meadow the following Tuesday.
England currently top their European Championship qualifying group in the race for the finals in the Czech Republic in 2014.
Ings has also been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for October.
