Reports in Scotland suggest Clarets midfielder Joey Barton is in talks with Rangers.
The Scottish giants are back in the SPL after a four-season absence, and with Mark Warburton looking to bolster his squad to try and take on old rivals Celtic again, it has been suggested in the Scottish media, including our sister paper The Scotsman, that Barton, 33, has held talks at Murray Park - Rangers' training ground - today.

- but is looking for at least a two-year deal, having made 38 appearances, playing an integral role as the Clarets bounced back to the Premier League at the first attempt.
