Clarets star launches new £10m Lotto game

Clarets keeper Tom Heaton is hoping his team’s success will rub off on the people of the town as the new Lotto is launched.

After helping his team to the top of the table, Heaton is now hoping there will be double celebrations in the town with the bigger and better Lotto game.

The new game, which launches on Saturday, will see a guaranteed jackpot of £10m. and a new raffle in which 1,000 people are guaranteed to win £20,000 this week only. Everyone who matches three numbers will now win £25.

And Heaton has revealed that number seven is the luckiest number for people in Burnley and number 38 is the most drawn ball.

Heaton said: “It is obviously fantastic news for Burnley FC this week to be top of the League and I just hope some of our success can rub off on the people of Burnley. I would like to wish everyone in the town lots of Lotto luck.”

A National Lottery spokesperson added: “The iconic balls have been part of British life since 1994 and it’s great to see the giant version of the balls at the Burnley FC training ground where the team has had such fantastic success this week. We hope the Clarets will bring everyone in Burnley some Lotto luck.
