Clarets star Ashley Barnes starts charity Santa Dash for Burnley Chemo unit
It felt a lot like Christmas at Towneley on Saturday as red suited Santas gave icy conditions the slip and took part in a 1km dash.
Also braving the cold was Clarets centre forward Ashley Barnes who started and then joined the Rosemere event to boost the Burnley Chemotherapy Unit Appeal. The charity needs to raise £100,000 towards a new, £200,000 state-of-the-art chemotherapy unit at Burnley General Hospital.
