Clarets performance against Manchester City is LMA Performance of the Week
The Clarets’ magnificent 1-0 victory over Manchester City has been chosen as the LG Performance of the Week by the League Managers’ Association.
A panel comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry were all in agreement that the display against reigning Champions Manchester City in the televised clash at Turf Moor was worthy of recognition.
Boss Sean Dyche will receive a specially commissioned trophy made by world renowned silversmiths and LMA Partner, Thomas Lyte of London, later today in a presentation conducted by Sky’s Jonny Phillips to commemorate the award.
The interview will then be shown on Soccer Saturday this weekend.
