Twenty students from all years spent an hour with the two Turf Moor heroes, asking a range of questions from what they ate, their proudest moments in football and about their love for Burnley.

Heaton told the students: “I can’t wait for the season to start. I am looking forward to the fixtures coming out. As a former Manchester United player, the first one I will look for is our trip to Old Trafford!”

Robson was part of the Burnley team who won the First Division championship in 1960. He also scored the 100th goal in a Wembley FA Cup final when Burnley lost to Tottenham in 1962: “That was my proudest moment.

“When I scored it was just another goal but it was a big moment.”
