Clarets getting balance right on and off the pitch - Dyche

The club this morning announced a record £30.14m net profit for the financial year, ending in June 2015.

Chairman Mike Garlick believes the club "continue to be regarded by many as a role model of how to run a club in the modern era."

Dyche has ensured that while the club's accounts are in good shape, they have continued to build on the pitch, and currently top the Championship as they aim for an immediate return to the Premier League.

Off the pitch, over £10m has been committed to developing the Gawthorpe training ground, and Dyche said: "There is a balance to be found, there are the physical changes at the club, as well as supporting and building the team.

"An appropriate balance is hard to find, but as the figures show, the club is in a healthy place for this moment and beyond.

"You want to be productive in the (transfer) market and move the team forward, but there is also the bigger picture of the club and the future, and we have managed to find the balance pretty well."
