Clarets fan Tom taken on at Turf Moor Academy
Burnley season ticket holder Tom Claxton is following in the footsteps of his heroes after being taken on by Burnley Football Club’s Academy.
Blessed Trinity pupil Tom (12) went for trials at Gawthorpe and was signed up to the Turf Moor youth set-up recently.
“I am really happy,” said attacker Tom. “It was amazing when they said I was good enough.
“I think my strengths are my speed. It’s great being a Burnley fan and being part of the club.”
