But with Burnley 480 minutes without a goal in total, boss Sean Dyche admits the responsibility for putting the ball in the net isn’t solely with the nine-goal frontman.

Ashley Barnes, with five goals to his name, returns from suspension at Upton Park, while George Boyd also has scored five times this season.

However, only Scott Arfield (2), Ben Mee, Michael Kightly and Ross Wallace (one each) can join that trio in the list of the Clarets’ Premier League goal scorers this term.

Marvin Sordell, Sam Vokes and Wallace also netted against Spurs in the FA Cup, and Dyche said: “It’s not just Danny, the team have to stand up.

“He’s certainly trying. And that’s one of the key components, showing that willingness.

“It’s not a situation where you can just rely on one player.

“Of course he has scored goals this season and we know he has got goals in him.

“But that has to be reinforced with the team and how the team have the clarity to take chances well. It can’t just be on one person.

“There is a moment of truth when someone has to take that chance, we have created chances lately with quality. It’s got better over the course of the season, but we haven’t taken them.”
