The former Oldham Athletic stopper, 25, made his Burnley bow in the 2013/14 campaign when he was called into action as a substitute after Tom Heaton had been controversially dismissed against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Three days later, Cisak made his first start for the club and kept a clean sheet as the Clarets beat Lancashire neighbours Preston North End 2-0 in the Capital One Cup.

Having started his career at Leicester City and formed a key part of the Premier League Academy winning side in 2006/2007, he made 59 appearances for Oldham during a two-year stay as well as enjoying successful loan spells at Accrington Stanley and Portsmouth.

He signed on at Turf Moor in 2013 as Sean Dyche refreshed his goalkeeping pool and the former Australia U20 keeper will now be vying for a first-team spot with Tom Heaton and Matt Gilks.
