Cisak, who penned a new two-year deal at Turf Moor this summer, will link up with former Clarets assistant manager Russ Wilcox’s side until November 22.

The former Oldham Athletic stopper, 25, made his Burnley bow in the 2013/14 campaign when he was called into action as a substitute after Tom Heaton had been controversially dismissed against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Three days later, Cisak made his first start for the club and kept a clean sheet as the Clarets beat Preston North End 2-0 in the Capital One Cup.

York City are currently 22nd in the table on 11 points and sit above the drop zone on goal difference.
