Chris Iwelumo leaves Burnley FC

The striker, 32, has signed for the Hornets on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Iwelumo leaves Turf Moor after 12 months as a Burnley player following his signing from Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer.

The Scotland international scored 11 League goals for the Clarets, including a memorable hat-trick in Burnley’s dramatic 4-3 derby win over Preston North End last September.

Iwelumo also scored twice against Watford with his only goal away from home for the Clarets coming in a 3-1 win at Vicarage Road in mid-February as Burnley completed the double over the ‘Golden Boys’.
