Cardiff v Burnley FC - match called off
Saturday afternoon’s game between Cardiff City and Burnley has been called off as a result of extreme weather conditions in Wales.
The game at the Cardiff City Stadium was postponed because of treacherous conditions both on the pitch and on path ways and roads outside the ground.
Further heavy snow is forecast for the Cardiff area tonight and tomorrow and for this reason the referee hasmade the decision to call off.
It is the second Claret’s match to be postponed in just two weeks, with the game against Portsmouth at Fratton Park also called off due to snow.
