The Turf Moor chief played 76 times for the Lions between 1999 and 2002, scoring three times for the club.

The former centre back made 33 appearances during the 2000/01 campaign as Mark McGhee's men won the Second Division title with a club record points tally (93).

Dyche featured heavily again the following season as Millwall lost out to Birmingham City in a two-legged play-off semi-final in Division One.

The 49-year-old has been back to The Den twice during his reign with the Clarets, winning the first 2-0 in the Championship before drawing the second game 2-2.

Holders Manchester City or AFC Bournemouth, who play on Thursday evening, await the winners of the tie, which will be decided on the night.
