Burnley turn down Bournemouth bid for Danny Ings
Burnley have turned down a formal bid for striker Danny Ings from former club Bournemouth.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe has returned for the forward he signed from his old club in the August 2011, while in charge at Turf Moor. But, despite an undisclosed offer, believed to be in the region of the £1m Burnley paid for him, he has been knocked back.
However, Bournemouth, backed by Russian co-owner Maxim Demin, are expected to up their offer.
